Dark Waters
It is not lost on me that the real reason for all of our celebratory smiles and joy expressed in a job well done, is a terrible injustice and heartbreaking loss leveled on a small town called Parkersburg, WV which has impacted all of us forever.
I have the unusual honor to portray a woman who quietly stood by her man as he stood up to a large corporation because of a caring Cincinnati attorney named Rob Bilott who never gave up.
I have so many people to thank for this rare and incredible experience. Thank you to casting director D. Lynn Meyers, my agents at Heyman Talent. I’m so proud of the City of Cincinnati’s talented collection of actors to help tell the story for one of the most giving director and producers (Mark Ruffalo and Christine Vaschon) anyone could hope to collaborate with.
Her name was Sandra K. Tennant
Born on August 27, 1951 and passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011. Sandra was a resident of Washington, West Virginia. Her two daughters: Crystal Tennant and Amy Brode loved Wilbur Earl Tennant, 67 of New England who passed away suddenly at his residence May 15, 2009. Earl retired from the WV Department of Highways as an equipment operator. He had formerly worked for the Wood County Schools as a bus driver and was a farmer his whole life. In addition to farming, Earl was an outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed hunting, working in the garden and around the farm with his grandson Josh and spending time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Sandra was a caring Mother and held to her faith throughout her difficult battle to save her farm. Sandra and Wilber were married 34 years.
